A Farewell Message to Our Wimberley
Community, Consignors,
Family & Friends
To our dear friends, neighbors, and loyal supporters,
It is with heavy hearts that we share some difficult news. After 17 wonderful years of serving this community, Hill Country Consignment, LLC will be closing its doors in September 2026 due to the loss of our lease.
What started as a simple vision. We launched with a notepad and a card table. The vision grew into something far greater than we ever imagined. Our goal was always to be a service to the community of Wimberley, and over the last decade and a half, you’ve allowed us to do just that— we became more than just a Consignment Store we became family!
We are so proud of the role we’ve played in this town.
Together, we have:
• Supported families through the devastation of floods and fires.
• Provided clothing and shoes for WISD students and others in need.
• Assisted foster parents welcoming children into their homes.
• Offered a fair, honest place for neighbors to shop and sell.
We’ve watched your children grow up alongside our own, and we’ve seen Wimberley change in countless ways. Through it all, your stories and your support have touched our hearts.
The Path Forward:
Letting go will not be easy, and we have a lot of work ahead of us. However, we want you to know that we will continue business as usual until the very end. We hope to see your faces many more times over the coming months.
This is a lot to process, both emotionally and logistically. Please bear with us as we navigate through this.
Thank you for being part of our story. We are taking a lifetime of memories with us.

OUR STORY:
Amy Guynes, owner of Hill Country Consignment, began her consignment business in 2009 and is focused on providing the community with a cost effective way to buy and sell their items and accessories. Amy, who served her community providing Occupational Therapy to the homebound, along with her new business partner, Donna Wyatt, have grown the business into a consignment shop that offers a variety of items for the entire family. Women, Men, Children, Jr. and Teen clothing, Home Decor, DVDs, Vintage items, Furniture, Jewelry, Sports gear, Baby gear, Shoes,Purses, Bedding, Toys, Knick-Knacks and much more!
Amy and Donna ensure that store items are in excellent condition. The store is clean and fresh. The staff is extremely dedicated to keep items neat and organized.
